About Us
Igbanke National Union, USA is an organization of all Igbanke sons and daughters in the United States of America. It is a non-profit and non-governmental organization registered in the United States and part of her goal is to promote unity among Igbanke sons and daughters and support quality education, healthcare services, and community development.
The idea to form Igbanke National Union, USA came from Honorable Elliot Isibor and Late Elder George Ikubor. They met with Mr. John Martins Ihiale and Mr. Raphael Isa Ebu to further discuss the modality and structure of the Union. The first meeting was held in Honorable Isibor’s residence in Rockaway, New Jersey on October 15, 2008. Since then the organization continues to grow. We currently have five chapters namely Georgia (Atlanta) Chapter, New Jersey/ New York Chapter, Houston Chapter, Dallas Chapter and DC/Maryland/Virginia (DMV) Chapter.
As part of her community development program, Igbanke National Union, USA has donated school supplies to all the Primary schools in Igbanke and in 2016 the organization renovated Igbanke General Hospital and donated thousands of dollars of Equipment to the Hospital. We continue to seek ways to positively impact our community.
Membership in Igbanke National Union, USA is open to anyone from Igbanke either by birth or marriage resident in the United States of American. I thank all those that have been part of this development effort and implore all Igbanke sons and daughters in the United States to join us to do more for our community.
